Italian Bikes Photography

Here is a second set of images taken whilst on a recent trip to Pisa, Florence and Lucca. This set consist mostly of the beautiful old Italian buildings, doorways and in particular lots of lovely bikes leaning against rustic italian walls like the ones above. We are thinking of compiling a photgraphic book using some of these shots, so watch this space. See the full set here.

Pisa Marina Photoshoot

We have just uploaded some shots taken whilst on a recent trip to Tuscany to the studio Flickr. This first set was taken at Pisa Marina in March, it wasn’t typical beach weather but the cold day did provide some beautifully still and desaturated shots of a beach during the winter months. See the full set here.

Olympus E-P1 ‘Digital Pen’

Sexy People

Sexy People is a blog dedicated to the ‘celebration of the perfect portrait’ and is a brilliant curated collection of cringe-worthy/terrifying/hilarious photos taken from the 60s-90s. I only just discovered that the photos are carefully categorised by country, backdrop, styling (e.g. mulletglamourbow tie…), etc. Go straight to Renzo’s favourites for a choice collection. Ramraided from.

Things We Have Found

I have just become a contributor to a site called Things We Have Found created by my friend Mike Sullivan and Cameron Yule. The rationale of the site is simple -a place to share interesting things found while out and about in Glasgow and Edinburgh. I particularly like this shot (above) submitted by Mike of the ‘Bird lady of the Trongate’. I have taken many photos whilst living in Glasgow for years and im looking forward to sharing some of my previous photos until I get back in August when I can start uploading some new shots. Well worth checking out. Thanks again to Mike and Cam for getting me involved!

Happy Camper!

As some of you will know I have just arrived back in Sydney after a 5 week trip driving over 2000 miles from Sydney to Cairns in a Campervan. We had an amazing time and I have now fallen in love with the freedom and flexibility of just getting up everyday and driving somewhere new in your very own mobile home. I started taking some photos of the coolest Campervans that we saw whilst on the road and have started a Flickr set of them. Check them out here

Nice Coffee Sacks!

I spotted these lovely old coffee sacks for sale in a shop in Newtown the other day. Nice typography style, would look great as a coffee shop branding system. In fact I might even put one together so watch this space! Photos added to my ever-growing Signs of Sydney Flickr set.

If your anything like us (and we know you are!) you'll have hundreds of great designers, agencies, illustrators and photographers sites bookmarked and its hard to remember them all. So in a bid to revisit some great sites we have decided to start re-posting all of our lost boomarks to create a visual reference of what made us bookmark them in the first place.
